Are We There Yet...

After doing a bit of research trying to come up with some ideas about our website, I realized that every family is different…and every website is never the same. But after reading some of people’s comments, there’s one thing that remains constant and that’s the love of family.

Over the next few months, there will be constant updates that will “hopefully” remind you how important it is to keep in touch with family. Whether you decide to stay in touch at the yearly family reunion event or even better, a visit to someone, a simple phone call, email or hand written letter. With every generation that passes us by, today’s family gatherings have taken us to a new level of meaningfulness. It’s that time to see the new additions to the family or remember the ones that have left us and are under the protection of Our Lord and Savior. Well, that’s what this site will hopefully allow us to remember or forget, laugh and/or cry, or just leave us with a nice smile. 

So let this first picture of the family reunion be the feeding ground for all of us to indulge, allowing us to know how truly blessed we are to be a part of the Mattie Peterson family tree.
